History and Blogging

Blogging has become a modern way for people to express their opinions and concerns for a world wide audience.  This effective way of communication also opens up a different avenue for our history classes to enlarge a discussion beyond the time constraints put on us in school. Here I have set up pages corresponding to the honors classes that I teach.

Please remember to use good logic while answering, and please do not forget your manners either!

    Dear Diary,
Hello. My name is Molly Smith and I am 16 years of age. I attend a small school for girls in my own town of Jamestown, VA. My father is the blacksmith for the town and my mother is a nurse for the wounded of the war. And as for the war .. I hate it. I find it completely ridiculous. I remember the day it began. I stood on my property and watched my love walk away towards the war with my heart in his hands. I haven’t seen him since. I write to him once a month, but no response

I watch my town become miserable and angry. I pray for this war to end everyday. Killing people is not the way to win independence. Who ever wins ..good for them. If I could make this nation come together as one.. forever ..I would.
