NJ teens and the American Revolution
The colony of New Jersey was rich in having a variety of reactions to the American Revolution. Not only did the colony support the independence movement by signing up a large number of men to fight with the Continental Army, they also produced a number of regiments that fought for the British Army. Teenagers who lived in New Jersey at the time were as different as their parents as to what side to back.
Consider your own life, your family, community, personal experiences and beliefs; If you had lived in NJ in the 1770′s what side would you have believed in? What actions would you have taken?
Please remember to answer the questions thoroughly and back them up with information. (research if necessary!) And as always all posts must be school appropriate and tagged with your first name, last initial, and class period.
